Description

Discovery 2 and Range Rover P38 lower front axle ball joint

This lower front axle ball joint fits Land Rover Discovery 2 and Range Rover P38 models. It is the lower ball joint used in the front axle assembly and should be chosen when the lower joint is worn, loose, notchy or showing play.

Worn front axle ball joints can cause knocking, creaking, vague steering, uneven tyre wear or MOT failure for excessive play. If the upper joint is also worn, replace it at the same time to avoid stripping the same front axle area again later.

For the matching upper ball joint, see our Discovery 2 & Range Rover P38 upper ball joint FTC3570G. For related axle parts, seals and fixings, see our Discovery 2 front axle parts.

Warranty

Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.

Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.

Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.

This warranty is in addition to your legal rights and does not reduce those rights.
