Description
300TDI injector nozzle replacement
This replacement fuel injector nozzle is for Land Rover 300TDI engines fitted to Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models. It is the internal nozzle component for injector overhaul work, not a complete replacement injector assembly.
Injector nozzle wear can contribute to poor spray pattern, smoke, diesel knock, rough running, hard starting or uneven fuelling. Because the nozzle is only one part of the injector assembly, the rebuilt injector should be properly assembled and tested before use.
If you want a complete replacement injector instead of rebuilding your existing unit, see the ERR3339G Bosch 300TDI fuel injector. When removing and refitting injectors, renew the sealing washers with the 300TDI injector copper washer kit. If the fuel return pipework is corroded, leaking or disturbed during the job, use the MJN100910 300TDI injector leak-off pipe set.
