300TDI Bosch fuel injector replacement
This Bosch fuel injector is for Land Rover 300TDI engines fitted to Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models. It is a quality replacement injector for the mechanical diesel injection system used on the 300TDI engine.
Injector problems can cause rough running, excessive smoke, diesel knock, poor starting, uneven idle or loss of performance. On higher-mileage engines, injectors may also be replaced as part of a fuel-system refresh or engine rebuild.
When removing and refitting injectors, renew the sealing washers with the ERR4621 300TDI / 200TDI injector copper washer kit. If the leak-off pipework is corroded, weeping or disturbed during injector work, replace it with the MJN100910 300TDI injector leak-off pipe set.
If you are repairing individual injector pipework at the same time, the 300TDI injector pipes are available separately: STC1694 injector pipe no. 1, STC1695 injector pipe no. 2, STC1696 injector pipe no. 3 and STC1697 injector pipe no. 4.
