Td5 rocker cover sealing grommet set
This set of 13 rocker cover sealing grommets fits Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines. The grommets seal around the rocker cover bolts and help the camshaft / rocker cover seal correctly against the cylinder head.
Old or compressed grommets can allow oil to seep from the rocker cover area, even if the main gasket has been replaced. If you are removing the cover for oil leak repair, injector loom work or cylinder head work, it makes sense to renew the grommets at the same time.
