Description
Greaseable adjustable rear A frame fulcrum joint assembly
This greaseable and adjustable A frame ball joint with housing fits the rear suspension on Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models. The ball joint is supplied already pressed into the housing, so the main joint and bracket assembly is ready to fit.
The grease nipple allows the joint to be serviced, while the adjustable design can help take up wear-related play over time. This makes it a stronger long-term choice than a basic sealed A frame ball joint assembly where serviceability is limited.
Supplied with the fitted rubber boot and stainless steel split pin. A frame ball joint housing bolts are not included.
Before use, remove and discard the boot retainer fitted around the rubber boot. Leaving the retainer in place can restrict boot movement and can also pressurise the boot when the joint is greased, causing it to balloon and split.
