Replacement heater matrix to fuel cooler hose for Discovery 2 Td5
This Discovery 2 Td5 heater hose (JHC100460) runs from the heater matrix to the fuel cooler. It forms part of the coolant circuit around the heater and fuel cooler, and supersedes the earlier JHC100380 hose.
Old coolant hoses can become hard, swollen, cracked, oil-contaminated or brittle with age. If this hose is leaking, damaged or being disturbed during fuel cooler, heater hose or cooling system work, replacing it is usually better than refitting an ageing hose.
When fitting, check the fuel cooler connections, hose clips and surrounding coolant hoses before refilling the system. If coolant has been drained, refill with the correct antifreeze mixture and bleed the Discovery 2 Td5 cooling system carefully.
