300TDI crankshaft timing gear replacement
LHH100660 is the one-piece crankshaft timing gear used on Land Rover 300TDI engines. It sits at the crankshaft end of the timing belt drive and is suitable for Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic 300TDI timing belt applications where this one-piece gear is specified.
Replace the crankshaft timing gear if the teeth are worn, damaged, corroded or if the gear has suffered from previous poor fitting or timing belt failure. It is also worth checking carefully whenever the front timing cover is removed for a full timing belt service.
Make sure the existing gear type and timing belt setup match before ordering. This is the one-piece crankshaft timing gear only; belt, tensioner, idler, gaskets, seals and related fixings should be ordered separately if needed.
