OEM swivel ball housing for Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic front axles using the later bearing-top-and-bottom type swivel housing.
This is the part to replace when the swivel ball surface is pitted, corroded or worn. If the sealing surface is damaged, fitting new swivel seals alone will usually only be a short-term fix.

OEM FTC5366 Swivel Ball Housing
This FTC5366 swivel ball housing is the later-style front axle swivel housing used on suitable Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic applications.
The swivel housing gives the front axle swivel seal its running surface. Once that surface becomes pitted, rusty or damaged, the seal cannot work properly and the swivel is likely to keep leaking even if new seals are fitted.
When to replace the swivel housing
Use this housing when the existing swivel ball is too worn or corroded to seal correctly. It is the right choice when you are rebuilding the swivel properly rather than only replacing the outer seal.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
