This left-hand door handle and lock kit is a direct replacement for the original Land Rover handle used on Series II and Series III models. It includes the handle assembly, lock barrel and matching keys so you can restore smooth operation and secure locking in one hit. When to replace this handle
Typical reasons to fit a new handle and lock include: sticking or grinding action when opening the door, key that will not turn reliably, broken or loose external handle, or a lock that can be opened with almost any key. Replacing the complete assembly is usually quicker and more reliable than trying to rebuild a badly worn original.
Fitting notes
Swap the handle over one door at a time so you can refer to the other side for linkage layout. Lightly lubricate the moving parts and latch mechanism during installation, then check the door shuts cleanly and that both the inside and outside handles operate smoothly before refitting the door trim. After fitting, test the new lock with both keys to make sure it latches and releases correctly.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
