Defender 90 fuel tank sender unit replacement
This fuel tank sender unit fits Land Rover Defender 90 200TDI and 300TDI models in VIN range AA243343 to WA159806. It is the sender unit fitted in the fuel tank to provide the fuel level reading for the dashboard gauge.
Replace the sender unit if the fuel gauge is inaccurate, stuck, intermittent or not responding correctly, provided the wiring and gauge circuit have also been checked. A failed or worn sender can give unreliable fuel level readings even when the tank itself is sound.
This part is for Defender 90 fuel systems in the stated VIN range and is not for EFI or 6-cylinder vehicles. The ARA1502L fuel sender unit seal is available separately if the original seal is damaged, flattened or leaking. You can also browse more Defender fuel system parts.

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
