Td5 fuel pressure regulator repair/rebuild kit for resealing and rebuilding the original fuel pressure regulator housing on Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5. If your original housing is serviceable, this kit gives you a cost-effective way to repair the common Td5 regulator leak without replacing the complete fuel pressure regulator assembly. Our kit includes the Genuine Bosch pressure regulator, both gasket versions and the main O-rings.

Td5 fuel pressure regulator rebuild kit with Genuine Bosch regulator
A leaking or failing Td5 fuel pressure regulator can cause diesel smell, dampness and staining around the back of the cylinder head, or fuel pressure that is no longer being correctly controlled. This kit gives you the Genuine Bosch regulator and sealing parts needed to rebuild the existing fuel pressure regulator housing on Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines.
Why this kit covers early and late Td5 regulators
Early and late Td5 fuel pressure regulator housings use different gasket patterns. This kit includes both MSX100080 and MSX000010 gaskets, so the correct gasket is available once the housing is removed.
Many modern aftermarket fuel pressure regulator housings use the later MSX000010 gasket on both early and late versions, so it is not always obvious which gasket you need before removing the regulator.
It also includes the cylinder-head O-ring and three fuel connector O-rings used around the regulator assembly.
Rebuild kit or complete regulator?
This kit is for rebuilding the existing fuel pressure regulator housing. Before refitting, clean the mating faces and check the aluminium housing for corrosion, pitting, damaged threads or other damage that could prevent a good seal.
The FS108357 housing bolts, MAE100010 gauze fuel strainer and ERR2081G fuel temperature sensor are available separately if needed. These parts can often be reused if they are clean, undamaged and serviceable.
If the housing itself is damaged, choose from our Td5 fuel pressure regulator parts range instead of rebuilding the old housing.
Fitting note
The fuel pressure regulator is retained in the housing with a heavy duty circlip. Once the circlip is removed, the regulator can be pulled out and replaced with the new Genuine Bosch regulator supplied in this kit.
The new fuel pressure regulator is supplied with its own O-rings already fitted. A light smear of O-ring grease on the O-rings before fitting helps them slide into place, seat correctly and reduces the risk of damaging the seals during installation. It also helps prevent them drying out over time.
