Description
Td5 fuel pressure regulator strainer
MAE100010 is the small gauze fuel strainer fitted at the fuel pressure regulator / cylinder-head fuel block on Land Rover Td5 engines. It fits Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 models.
This is not the main Td5 service fuel filter. On a Td5, the main service filter is part of the return / circulation side of the fuel system, not a conventional inline filter in the direct high-pressure feed from the in-tank pump to the fuel pressure regulator. Fuel entering the cylinder-head fuel gallery is supplied from the in-tank pump and passes through this small gauze strainer before reaching the injectors.
