Complete viscous fan assembly for Td5 and Puma TDCI cooling systems
This complete viscous fan assembly (PGG500340) fits Discovery 2 Td5, Defender Td5 and selected Defender 2.4 / 2.2 Puma TDCI models with the factory mechanical viscous fan setup. It is supplied as one complete unit with the viscous coupling and fan blades assembled, and replaces PGG500340, PGG000180 and PGG101050.
A worn viscous fan can reduce cooling airflow through the radiator, especially at low road speed, when towing, off-road, idling or working hard in hot conditions. Replacement may be needed if the viscous coupling is weak, noisy, seized, leaking, damaged or no longer engaging correctly, or if the fan blades are cracked or damaged.
Check your vehicle uses the factory viscous fan arrangement before ordering, especially on Puma TDCI models. Fit carefully to avoid damaging the radiator, shroud or surrounding cooling components.
