Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic ABS top swivel pin kit
This STC226 top swivel pin kit is for Land Rover Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models fitted with ABS front axles. It is used when renewing the upper swivel pin assembly during front axle swivel repair work.
A worn top swivel pin assembly can contribute to play at the front wheel, vague steering feel, knocking, MOT advisories or uneven movement through the swivel. If the rest of the swivel housing is still serviceable, renewing the upper pin assembly can be a sensible repair without replacing the complete swivel housing.
The ABS fitment matters on these axles, so check that your vehicle has the ABS-type swivel housing before ordering.
