Discovery 1 and Discovery 2 rear propshaft replacement
This TVB000150 rear propshaft is a complete replacement rear propshaft for Land Rover Discovery 1 and Discovery 2 models using the standard rear rubber coupling, often referred to as the propshaft donut. It replaces the common rear propshaft part numbers TVB000150 and FTC3705.
This is the correct style of rear propshaft for vehicles using the standard rubber coupling arrangement at the rear differential. It is not the same as a 4-bolt flange conversion propshaft, which is used when the rear rubber coupling has been removed and the axle flange has been changed.
A worn rear propshaft or failing rubber coupling can cause vibration, knocking, driveline shunt or clunking on take-up. Play in the universal joint, a perished rubber coupling or worn fixings should be dealt with before they cause further drivetrain wear.
For best results, replace the propshaft fixings during installation. Fit this propshaft with a fresh propshaft nut and bolt kit and use suitable grease where required.
