Replacement Defender handbrake warning light switch
This handbrake warning switch fits Land Rover Defender models from approximately 1994 onwards. It is fitted at the handbrake lever and is used for the dashboard handbrake warning light circuit.
Replace the switch if the handbrake warning light does not come on when the lever is applied, or if the switch has been damaged, corroded or disturbed during work around the handbrake lever area. If the warning light stays on, also check the wiring, switch position and handbrake lever arrangement before assuming the switch is the only fault.
