Description

Discovery 2 rear hub assembly with wheel bearing and ABS sensor

This rear hub assembly replaces the TAY100050 hub unit fitted to the Land Rover Discovery 2 rear axle. It is supplied as a complete rear hub and wheel bearing assembly with the ABS sensor already fitted, so it is the correct rear hub unit when the bearing and sensor are replaced as one assembly.

Fits either rear side on Discovery 2, so use one hub for a single rear corner or two if both rear hubs are being replaced together.

Common reasons for replacing a Discovery 2 rear hub include rumbling or humming from the rear wheel area, wheel bearing play, roughness when rotating the wheel, vibration from the rear axle, or ABS warning faults where the hub sensor is the cause.

When fitting a rear hub, use a fresh CDU1534L hub nut and check the hub mounting bolts. The FC112127PL rear hub bolts are sold individually, with four required per rear hub. The FTC4919 rear hub O-ring seal is also worth replacing while the hub is off.

For front and rear Discovery 2 hub options, see our Discovery 2 wheel bearing and hub assemblies, or browse the wider Discovery 2 rear axle parts range.

Warranty

All parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 are covered by a minimum 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects.

Some products and brands may carry a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover failure caused by incorrect fitting, misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, or faults elsewhere on the vehicle.

Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and testing before any repair, replacement or refund is authorised.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
