Discovery 2 front hub assembly with wheel bearing and ABS sensor
This front hub assembly replaces the TAY100060 hub unit fitted to Land Rover Discovery 2 models. It is supplied as a complete front hub and wheel bearing assembly with the ABS sensor already fitted, so it is the correct replacement when the bearing and sensor are part of the hub assembly rather than separate service items.
Fits either front side on Discovery 2, so use one hub for a single front corner or two if both front hubs are being replaced together.
Common reasons for replacing a Discovery 2 front hub include rumbling or humming from the front wheel area, wheel bearing play, roughness when rotating the wheel, vibration from the front axle, or ABS warning faults where the hub sensor is the cause.
When fitting a front hub, it is worth using a fresh CDU1534L hub nut and checking the front hub bolts. The FC112177P front hub bolts are sold individually, with four required per front hub. If the driveshaft seal is disturbed or showing signs of leakage, use the FTC4822G front axle driveshaft oil seal.
