Which TD5 injector seal kit is right for the job?
Every TD5 injector uses one copper sealing washer and one O-ring, so a complete engine set requires five of each. The kits below do the same sealing job; the differences are the number of injectors covered, the source of the seals and how clearly their provenance can be identified.

What the TD5 injector seals do
ERR6417 copper injector washer: seals the injector nozzle against its seat in the cylinder head. Leakage past the washer can allow combustion gases into the fuel gallery, contributing to difficult starting, rough running and misfires.
ERR7004 injector O-ring: seals the injector body within the cylinder head and prevents diesel passing into the engine oil. O-ring failure can raise the sump level and dilute the engine lubricant.
