TD5 Injector Seal Kits
TD5 injector seal kits for Defender and Discovery 2, including Genuine Land Rover ERR6417 copper washers and ERR7004 O-rings, single-injector sets and complete five-injector kits with genuine or Delphi O-rings.
Single-injector kits contain one copper washer and one O-ring; complete kits contain seals for all five injectors. ERR6417 seals the injector against the cylinder head, while ERR7004 seals the injector body and prevents diesel entering the engine oil.

Which TD5 injector seal kit do I need?

What the TD5 injector seals do
ERR6417 copper injector washer: seals the injector against its seat in the cylinder head. Leakage past the washer can cause difficult starting, rough running, misfires and combustion gas escaping around the injector.
ERR7004 injector O-ring: seals the injector body inside the cylinder head. A failed O-ring can allow diesel into the engine oil, increasing the sump level and diluting the lubricant.
