Description
If you’ve ever tried to remove a Land Rover propshaft with a random spanner from the bottom of the toolbox, you’ll know how awkward those 9/16″ flange nuts can be. This 9/16″ combination spanner for Land Rover propshafts is the simple fix – the right size, a slim head and enough length to give you proper leverage. Using 14mm (which many people seem to do) is fine in an emergency but increases the risk of slipping and round the bolts/nuts.
The ring end is sized specifically for the 9/16″ AF propshaft bolts used on many Defender, Discovery and Range Rover models. Its slim profile helps it sit fully on the nut without fouling the yoke, reducing the chance of rounding fasteners that have been in place for years. The open end is handy for spinning nuts off quickly once they’re cracked loose.
Manufactured from quality chrome vanadium steel, the spanner is hardened and tempered for strength, then nickel-chrome plated for corrosion resistance. The smooth finish wipes clean easily after a messy job under the vehicle.
