Description
This Draper Expert Hi-Torq metric coloured combination spanner set is one of those “buy once, use forever” tools. You get 13 combination spanners covering 6–19mm, each finished in a different colour so you can grab the right size at a glance, even when you’re working upside-down under a Defender.
The Hi-Torq ring end is cranked at 15°, giving you knuckle clearance and better access over studs and obstructions. The open end is also set at 15°, which makes it easier to flip the spanner and get another bite in tight spaces. That’s especially handy when you’re buried in an engine bay or working around suspension and steering components.
Every spanner is forged from chrome vanadium steel, then hardened, tempered and coloured chrome plated for durability. In plain English: they’re tough enough for daily workshop use and the finish holds up well to oily, grubby hands. The colour coding isn’t a gimmick either – once you’re used to it you’ll find you reach for the right size far quicker than with plain chrome sets.
