Defender 90 Td5 fuel pump replacement
The Defender 90 Td5 fuel pump sits inside the fuel tank and is supplied as a complete pump and sender unit assembly. This OEM VDO / Continental pump is the premium replacement option for Defender 90 Td5, with the fuel pump and fuel level sender supplied as one complete unit.
Defender 90, Defender 110/130 and Discovery 2 Td5 models use different pump and sender assemblies, so match the pump to the vehicle rather than buying by engine alone.
A weak or failing Td5 fuel pump can cause noisy pump operation, poor starting, cutting out under load, low fuel pressure or uneven running. If the fault is not clear, a physical fuel pressure test is the best way to confirm fuel delivery before replacing parts.
