Corteco rear crankshaft oil seal for Land Rover Defender Puma 2.4 and 2.2 TDCI engines. This is the rear main oil seal used at the back of the engine, often replaced when dealing with oil leaks from the bellhousing area or while the gearbox and clutch are already removed. Supplied with the fitting applicator.

LR020610G is the Corteco rear crankshaft oil seal for Defender Puma 2.4 and 2.2 TDCI engines. It is also commonly referred to as the rear main oil seal.
This seal is normally replaced when the rear of the engine is accessible, such as during clutch or gearbox work, or when investigating oil leakage from the bellhousing area.
Fit carefully using the supplied applicator and follow the correct fitting procedure for the engine.

Corteco is the aftermarket brand of the Freudenberg Group.
Fruedenberg is a company with 170 years of history. Originally founded in 1849 as a leather tannery, it wasn't until 1932 when Freudenburg entered the seal business.
In 1957, Freudenburg first got involved in vibration control technology by engineering and manufacturing shock absorbers and bushings under the name Matalastik. In the same year, Freudenburg entered a partnership with Italian seal manufacturer Corte & Cosso. This partnership is where the Corteco name came from. In fact, the name Corteco in Italian is the term used for sealing ring or rotating shaft.
