Discovery 2 rear propshaft 4-bolt conversion kit
This rear propshaft conversion kit is for Land Rover Discovery 2 models where the original rear rubber coupling, often called the propshaft donut, is being replaced with a conventional 4-bolt differential flange and UJ propshaft arrangement.
The kit includes the main parts needed for the conversion: an FRC8387 rear propshaft, STC4858 4-bolt differential flange kit, Corteco FTC5258G flange seal and new propshaft fixings. This saves piecing the conversion together from separate parts and helps make sure the correct core components are on hand before the job is started.
Once fitted, the rear propshaft uses a simpler flange-to-flange arrangement with universal joints rather than the original rubber coupling. This is commonly used where the rubber coupling is worn, split or causing driveline vibration, or where the vehicle is being moved away from the standard donut-style rear propshaft setup.
This is not the standard replacement rear propshaft for a Discovery 2 still using the factory rubber coupling arrangement. If the vehicle is staying on the original rubber coupling setup, use the TVB000150 rear propshaft instead.

Some products and brands may carry a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover failure caused by incorrect fitting, misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, or faults elsewhere on the vehicle.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and testing before any repair, replacement or refund is authorised.
