Description
Regular greasing is essential on classic Land Rovers if you want propshafts, steering joints and suspension bushes to last. A decent grease gun turns the job from a chore into a quick, tidy task.
This Draper Expert pistol-type grease gun offers a good balance of build quality, ease of use and price. The die-cast head, strong trigger mechanism and flexible hose are designed for repeated use in a busy environment, while still being compact enough to live in the workshop or back of the vehicle.

A quality grease gun is the sort of tool you buy once and then use for years across multiple vehicles.
Usage notes
Prime the grease gun carefully on first use to remove any air pockets from the system. When changing cartridges:
- Retract the plunger fully
- Fit the new cartridge or refill with bulk grease
- Bleed air via the head / port as per the instructions
- Wipe the coupler clean before and after use to keep dirt out of nipples
Always match the grease type to the application – a good quality multi-purpose or high-pressure grease is usually suitable for Land Rover chassis lubrication.
