Description
Rock Oil Synthesis F 5W-30 is a fully synthetic ACEA A5/B5 engine oil for standard Defender TD5, Discovery 2 TD5 and Defender 2.4 TDCI Puma servicing. It carries Ford M2C913-D together with the earlier M2C913-C, M2C913-B and M2C913-A specifications, with API SL and Renault RN0700, and is supplied here in a 5L container.
Why We Stock It
Synthesis F provides a straightforward 5W-30 A5/B5 service oil for standard TD5 and Defender 2.4 TDCI engines. The important point is the oil specification rather than 5W-30 viscosity alone: the Ford M2C913 specification family is clearly stated, backed by a fully synthetic formulation with good cold-flow and high-temperature characteristics.

Our extended returns policy automatically applies to individual products purchased for less than £250 including VAT. Products costing £250 or more may still be accepted for return at our discretion.

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
