MotoRad thermostat for Defender and Discovery 2
This MotoRad thermostat fits Defender Td5, Defender 2.4/2.2 TDCI and Discovery 2 Td5 models using thermostat PEM100990. It controls coolant flow through the engine and radiator, helping the engine reach and hold its correct operating temperature.
A worn or sticking thermostat can cause slow warm-up, poor heater performance, unstable temperature control or overheating. Td5 thermostats can stick open or closed, so the symptoms can vary depending on how the thermostat has failed.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
