Rear brake caliper carrier for solid rear disc applications
This STC1907 rear brake caliper carrier fits Land Rover Discovery 2 and Range Rover P38 rear brake applications with solid rear discs. It is supplied complete with slider pins and rubber boots, making it a sensible replacement when the original carrier is too worn, corroded or seized to reuse confidently.
Rear caliper carriers commonly suffer from seized slider pins, corrosion where the brake pads sit, or wear in the pad seats. Once the carrier is in poor condition, a simple pad or disc replacement can turn into a delay, especially if the brakes are already stripped down.
Check that your vehicle uses the solid rear disc setup before ordering. If the caliper mounting bolts are corroded or damaged, add fresh M12 x 35 brake caliper bolts during the job.
