LOF POWERspec rear brake kit for Discovery 2 TD5 and V8 models, combining dimpled and grooved solid rear discs with matching POWERspec pads and fresh caliper slider hardware. It sits as our lower-priced complete performance package for the standard Discovery 2 rear brake setup, supplying the discs, pads, slider hardware, disc retaining screws and brake grease together rather than simply replacing the friction parts.

LOF POWERspec Rear Brakes
POWERspec uses dimpled and grooved solid rear discs with matching LOF performance pads while retaining the standard Discovery 2 rear calipers and disc dimensions. The main advantage of this kit is the package itself: discs, pads and the associated slider and fitting hardware are supplied together, making it a straightforward way to renew and uprate the rear brakes without moving into the higher-priced EBC package.

We also offer the corresponding Discovery 2 rear brake upgrade using EBC GD957 Turbo Groove discs and DP41038R Yellowstuff pads. The EBC kit is the natural step-up from the POWERspec package, combining discs and pads from an established specialist braking manufacturer with EBC’s clearly defined Yellowstuff friction grade and stronger product provenance.

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
