    BGA crankshaft damper and pulley for Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines. Replaces the front crank pulley assembly when the original damper is noisy, wobbling or showing signs of rubber deterioration.

    Description

    Replacing the Td5 crankshaft damper

    The Td5 crankshaft damper drives the auxiliary belt and helps control vibration at the front of the engine. When the bonded rubber deteriorates, the pulley can start to run out of true, often showing as belt noise, visible wobble at idle or a chirp as the engine stops.

    Fit with a new Td5 crankshaft pulley bolt. If there is any sign of oil leakage around the front of the crankshaft, it is also a good time to replace the ERR5992G Td5 front crankshaft oil seal.

    Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects.
