Td5 oil suction pipe O-ring replacement
This Genuine Land Rover O-ring fits the Td5 oil suction / pickup pipe on Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines. It replaces Land Rover part number ERR6401 and is supplied as the sealing O-ring for the suction pipe joint.
Renew the O-ring if the oil suction pipe has been removed, if the original seal is flattened or damaged, or if you are carrying out sump or oil pump access work. A fresh seal helps the suction pipe joint reseal properly when the engine is reassembled.
If the sump is being removed for oil pump work, also see the LYP101400 Td5 oil pump sprocket bolt. If the oil pump itself has been disturbed, see the LVG100340 Td5 oil pump gasket.
