Replacement Td5 sump gasket for Defender and Discovery 2
This Td5 sump gasket fits Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines. It seals the joint between the engine block and oil sump and should be replaced whenever the sump is removed and refitted.
A leaking sump gasket can leave oil misting or dripping around the lower engine and sump flange. Before replacing the gasket, clean the area and confirm the leak source, as oil can track down from higher points on the Td5 engine.
If you are removing the sump, it is also a sensible time to check related parts in the same area. The Td5 oil pump sprocket bolt is a common add-on when the sump is already off. For other common gasket and sealing parts, see our Td5 engine oil leak parts.
