TD5 Exhaust Manifold Stud Kits
TD5 exhaust manifold stud kits for Defender and Discovery 2, built around grade 8.8 part-threaded engineering studs and copper-coated flanged all-metal locking nuts. Heavy Duty and Ultimate kits cover the two different manifold fixing arrangements.
Select the kit by manifold setup rather than engine tune alone. The Heavy Duty kit fits a normal manifold installation without spacers, while the Ultimate kit uses the longer spacer-compatible stud arrangement and includes 303 stainless steel spacers. A new de-webbed manifold kit is also available with either stud kit added separately.

Choose the right TD5 exhaust manifold stud kit
The main decision is whether the manifold is being fitted directly to the cylinder head or built around the extended stud and spacer arrangement. Both stand-alone kits include upgraded manifold fasteners and the smaller turbo-side sealing and fixing parts disturbed during manifold removal.
