Discovery 2 rear propshaft 4-bolt conversion kit
This Discovery 2 rear propshaft conversion kit replaces the original 3-bolt rubber coupling / doughnut setup with a 4-bolt differential flange and universal-joint rear propshaft arrangement. It is a strong, serviceable conversion for Discovery 2 models where the original rubber coupling setup is worn, cracked, causing vibration or being upgraded as part of rear driveline work.
The conversion uses a Hardy Spicer rear propshaft and a 4-bolt Rover differential flange, moving the rear propshaft onto a conventional UJ arrangement with replaceable universal joints. This gives a more robust setup than the standard rubber coupling arrangement and keeps the main conversion parts together in one ready-to-fit kit.

- 1 × FRC8387 rear propshaft with Hardy Spicer universal joints
- 1 × STC4858 Rover 24 spline 4-bolt differential flange kit
- 1 × FTC5258G Corteco differential flange oil seal
- 8 × 3/8 UNF propshaft nuts
- 4 × 3/8 UNF propshaft bolts

Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
