Land Rover 200TDI, 300TDI and 2.5 diesel starter motor replacement
This NAD500210 starter motor is a replacement starter for Land Rover 200TDI, 300TDI, 2.5 Turbo Diesel and 2.5 naturally aspirated diesel applications. It is used across Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models where NAD500210 is specified.
A worn starter motor can cause slow cranking, clicking from the solenoid, intermittent starting, poor engagement or a complete failure to crank. Battery condition, earth straps and main power cables should always be checked as part of the diagnosis, but if the starter itself is weak or failing, replacement is usually the correct repair.

Always disconnect the battery before working on starter motor wiring, and check that the main battery cable, solenoid trigger wire and engine earth connections are clean, tight and free from corrosion before testing the new starter.
