Heavy duty steering damper for Discovery 2
The Terrafirma TF802 heavy duty steering damper fits Land Rover Discovery 2 models and is designed as an uprated replacement for the standard steering damper. It uses a big bore twin tube design to help control steering movement and reduce harsh feedback through the steering wheel.
A steering damper helps absorb sudden movement through the steering system. On a Discovery 2, this is especially useful on rough roads, rutted tracks, greenlanes, off-road vehicles and vehicles running larger tyres, where kickback and shimmy can be more noticeable.
Terrafirma list this steering damper with a 35mm internal bore and piston, 54mm big bore twin tube design, 16mm double chromed shaft and 50/50 damping. It uses the traditional Terrafirma silver body with blue dust shield.
This is the Discovery 2 version. Defender uses the TF832 Terrafirma steering damper, so choose TF802 for Discovery 2 fitment.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
