The pressure-side intercooler hoses, turbo inlet hosework and cooling-system hoses perform different jobs and must be matched separately. Start with Defender or Discovery 2, then identify the exact hose route being replaced.

Intercooler and boost hose sets
TD5 intercooler hoses can soften, swell, split or delaminate internally after years of oil vapour, engine-bay heat and boost pressure. Silicone hose sets replace the main rubber boost hoses with reinforced components for standard, remapped and otherwise modified TD5 engines.

TD5 turbo inlet hoses
Turbo inlet hoses sit between the air intake and turbocharger rather than on the pressurised intercooler side. Reinforcement is particularly important on the inlet side because a weak hose can deform under suction. Defender hoses are available with or without the engine-breather connection, while Discovery 2 uses its own intake-hose layout.
TD5 intercooler hose clip kits
Both clip kits contain the six clips required for the three standard Defender TD5 or Discovery 2 TD5 intercooler hoses. The Genuine Jubilee kit uses zinc-plated mild-steel bands with rolled edges. The 316 stainless kit provides greater corrosion resistance for vehicles exposed to road salt, wet off-road use and repeated engine-bay moisture.
