Defender 90, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic rear left brake caliper replacement
This SMC500240G rear left brake caliper fits Land Rover Defender 90, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models with rear disc brakes. It is supplied as a single LH rear caliper for replacing one side of the rear braking system.
Rear brake calipers are commonly replaced when the piston is seized, the caliper is leaking, the brake is binding, or the pads are wearing unevenly from one side to the other. If both rear calipers are in similar condition, replacing them as a pair is usually the better repair.
