Fitting & bedding-in notes

• Clean all hub and flange faces carefully so the discs sit perfectly flat.
• Torque caliper bolts and hub nuts to the correct Land Rover specifications.
• After installation, follow a sensible bedding-in procedure: several gentle stops from moderate speed to bring the pads and discs up to temperature without holding the pedal on when stationary.
• Full performance arrives after ~200–300 miles of mixed driving.

• Rear wheel bearings – upgrade to Timken if there is any play or noise
• Condition of the flexi hoses and rigid brake pipes
• Brake fluid – if it’s more than two years old, bleed and replace with fresh DOT 4
