Front brake pad fitting kit for vented front discs
This STC8575G front brake pad fitting kit is for Land Rover Defender and Discovery 1 front brake applications with vented front discs. It supplies the small retaining hardware normally checked or replaced when fitting front brake pads to the vented-disc caliper setup.
Front brake pad retaining hardware can corrode, seize, bend or weaken over time. Fitting fresh hardware during a front pad change avoids reusing tired parts and helps the pads sit correctly in the caliper.
This kit is for vented front disc applications. Solid front disc calipers use different pad fitting hardware, so check the calipers and discs fitted to the vehicle before ordering.

Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
