Elring OEM 3 hole Td5 head gasket replacement
This Elring OEM 3 hole Td5 head gasket fits Land Rover Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines. It is the 1.35mm version and replaces Land Rover part number LVB000260.
Td5 head gaskets are identified by the visible hole marking on the gasket tab. This version has three holes / three dots. If you are replacing the gasket like-for-like, match the hole count already fitted to the engine.
If the cylinder head or block has been machined, or you have any reason to question the gasket thickness, do not guess the hole count. Check the correct workshop procedure and measure properly before choosing the gasket.
When replacing a Td5 head gasket, always fit new Td5 cylinder head bolts. We also recommend fitting Td5 steel cylinder head dowels if they are not already fitted.
