Replacement washer for the Discovery 2 Td5 coolant drain plug
This coolant drain plug washer (PYF100860) fits the Discovery 2 Td5 coolant rail drain plug. It is a small sealing washer, but it is worth replacing whenever the drain plug has been removed during coolant draining or cooling system repair work.
Old drain plug washers can flatten, harden or fail to reseal properly after being disturbed. Fitting a new washer helps the coolant drain plug seal correctly and reduces the risk of a small coolant leak after refilling the system.
When refitting, check the drain plug and coolant rail threads before tightening. Do not rely on an old washer if it is marked, crushed, corroded or has already been reused.
