Silicone top radiator hose for Discovery 2 Td5 cooling repairs
This Discovery 2 Td5 silicone top radiator hose (PEH101080) fits Land Rover Discovery 2 Td5 models from 1998–2004. It replaces the standard top coolant hose and is supplied with a metal bleed screw fitted.
Coolant hoses can become hard, swollen, cracked or brittle with age and heat. If the top hose is showing signs of wear, leaking, or being disturbed during radiator or cooling system work, replacing it with a reinforced silicone hose is a sensible upgrade over refitting an ageing rubber hose.
The bleed screw in the top hose is important when refilling and bleeding the Td5 cooling system. This hose is supplied with a metal bleed screw, avoiding the common weakness of old plastic bleed screws becoming brittle or damaged during coolant work.
