Lucas TRW OEM brake servo / brake booster unit for Land Rover Defender models with ABS. This is the later double-diaphragm servo unit used on ABS Defenders and with the POWERboost non-ABS Defender conversion, making it the right servo to buy when replacing a failed ABS servo or completing a POWERboost upgrade.

Description
Defender ABS brake servo / brake booster SJG100240G
SJG100240G is a Lucas TRW OEM brake servo / booster unit for Land Rover Defender vehicles with ABS. The servo sits between the brake pedal box and the brake master cylinder, increasing brake assistance so the hydraulic braking system responds with less pedal effort.
Fitment is by braking system and VIN, not engine. Use this servo for Defender ABS vehicles from VIN XA159807 and Defender 2007-on ABS vehicles from VIN 7A000001. It is not a universal servo for every non-ABS Defender unless it is being fitted as part of a suitable conversion kit.
Using this servo with the POWERboost conversion
This later double-diaphragm servo is also the servo used with the POWERboost brake servo adaptor kit for non-ABS Defender. If you are upgrading a suitable non-ABS Defender, this servo is bought alongside the adaptor kit.
Brake fluid and system condition
If the braking system is opened or bled during fitting, use suitable brake fluid, available separately.
Before fitting a new servo, check the rest of the braking system, especially the master cylinder, brake pipes, flexible hoses, unions and bleed nipples. A new servo improves brake assistance, but it will not correct faults elsewhere in the hydraulic braking system.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
