Description
Defender vented front brake upgrade kit built around a matched EBC performance braking package: GD415 Turbo Groove slotted and blind-dimpled vented discs with DP4708R Yellowstuff high-friction pads. For Defender 90, 110 and 130 models using the later vented front brake setup, the kit replaces the front discs and pads together and includes fresh pad retaining hardware and four new caliper bolts rather than reusing tired or corroded fixings.
EBC Turbo Groove Discs and Yellowstuff Pads
EBC has built its reputation around specialist braking and friction products over several decades. Yellowstuff is one of the company’s best-known performance-road compounds, combining strong braking response from cold with the higher-friction characteristics wanted for faster road use and heavier vehicles while remaining fully suited to normal road driving. The DP4708R pads are manufactured by EBC at its friction factory in Bristol, UK, and EBC also pairs Yellowstuff with its GD Series discs within its own performance brake range.
The GD415 Turbo Groove discs replace the standard plain vented discs with EBC’s slotted and blind-dimpled design. Wide grooves help clear water, dust and debris from the braking surface and promote airflow around the pad and disc interface, while the blind dimples provide pad degassing without drilling completely through the disc. GD Sport discs are 100% machined in the UK from R90-approved blanks and finished with corrosion protection. The DP4708R Yellowstuff pads add EBC’s copper-free high-friction compound, Brake-In surface coating and ECE R90 road approval.

Fitment Notes
Defender solid-disc and vented-disc front brake setups use different calipers. A vehicle currently fitted with solid front discs will need the correct vented-disc front calipers before this kit can be fitted. The GD415 discs replace FTC902 / LR017952 / LR189051 and the DP4708R Yellowstuff pads use the SFP000260 pad fitment. EBC manufactures its brake pads in its own UK and USA facilities, with Yellowstuff produced in the UK. EBC GD Sport discs and Yellowstuff brake pads
EBC Brakes is an independently owned specialist brake manufacturer with manufacturing in the UK and USA. The Twinwoods Land Rover range uses EBC GD Sport discs and Yellowstuff performance-road brake pads, selected for Defender and Discovery 2 applications where a more performance-focused disc and pad combination is required. GD Sport discs use EBC's slotted and dimpled braking surface, while Yellowstuff is a higher-friction fast-road pad compound designed to retain strong braking response from cold and resist fade when the brakes are worked harder. Standard UK shipments are normally sent with DPD. UK orders containing oils or fluids are normally sent with DHL where required, because some carriers restrict liquid shipments.
Worldwide delivery is available through DPD and DHL Express, depending on the destination, parcel size, weight and available courier services. Add the parts you need to your basket, enter your delivery address, and the checkout will show the available delivery options and prices before payment.

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
