UK-built Clutchfix 500Nm Td5 clutch and solid mass flywheel kit
This UK-built Clutchfix kit gives you the main clutch and flywheel parts in one heavy duty package for Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5. It is built for vehicles where the clutch and flywheel are being replaced together and a standard replacement clutch is not enough for the way the vehicle is used. It also future-proofs a standard road vehicle, giving extra clutch capacity for towing, larger tyres or a later remap, with a stronger clutch built to last longer under demanding Td5 use.
The 500Nm organic clutch specification makes this a strong road-use option for towing, work use, larger tyres and remapped Td5s. It gives more holding capacity than a standard clutch while keeping the clutch choice suitable for normal driving. For the vast majority of remapped Td5 vehicles, 500Nm is plenty.

Solid mass flywheel and matched clutch package
This is not a bare solid flywheel swap or a cheap shortcut. It is a matched Clutchfix clutch and solid mass flywheel package, built around a sprung organic friction plate and heavy duty 500Nm clutch assembly so the conversion stays usable on the road while giving the holding power needed for harder Td5 use. Designed to match the damping of the original Valeo dual mass flywheel.
A replacement Td5 dual mass flywheel now costs around £500 on its own, before adding the clutch kit and the rest of the gearbox-out parts. This Clutchfix solid mass flywheel kit gives you the clutch and flywheel package together, with a stronger, simpler setup that avoids spending heavily on another dual mass flywheel which will normally need replacing again in around 100,000 miles.
For a Defender Td5 or Discovery 2 Td5 where the gearbox is already out, this is the stronger, better-value route: more clutch capacity, fewer dual mass flywheel worries, and a complete clutch/flywheel upgrade ready for towing, work use, larger tyres and remapped Td5s.

When the gearbox is already out, check the rear crankshaft oil seal, clutch hydraulics, clutch fork and release mechanism before reassembly. Replacing tired or leaking related parts at the same time avoids repeating the labour later.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects.
