Td5 lower engine gasket set for Defender and Discovery 2
This lower engine gasket set is for Land Rover Td5 engines fitted to Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 models. It is intended for lower engine sealing work where the sump or bottom-end gaskets are being replaced or disturbed.
Use a lower gasket set when dealing with oil leaks from the lower engine area, or when carrying out engine work that requires the original gaskets and seals to be removed. It is a practical set to have ready before dismantling, so the job is not held up by small sealing parts.
This is a lower engine gasket set, not a full head gasket set. If you are working on the top end of the engine, check that you have the correct head gasket, cylinder head bolts and related upper-engine seals for the job.
