A failing mass air flow (MAF) sensor on a Td5 engine can cause poor running, lack of power, sluggish throttle response and rough idle. Left unchecked it affects fuelling accuracy and overall driveability.

A failing MAF sensor can cause sluggish performance, poor fuel economy, or difficulty starting. Replacing with a genuine Lucas unit guarantees compatibility and restores your TD5 to factory performance.
While on 10P engines the MAF is used primarily for EGR operation, on later 15P models the MAF readings do form more of the general fuelling strategy – and so a failing MAF sensor can contribute to poor MPG.
We recommend fitting a new air filter at the same time to ensure the best protection for your new sensor.
