Description

This Lucas TD5 mass air flow sensor (MHK100620) fits Defender TD5 and Discovery 2 TD5 models using the MHK100620 air flow meter. The MAF sensor measures incoming air flow for the engine management system, so the correct TD5 sensor is important when poor running, sluggish throttle response, rough idle or loss of power points back to the air metering side. This Lucas-branded sensor is a direct-fit replacement and requires no coding.

Vehicle Fitment

  • Defender TD5 1998–2006
  • Discovery 2 TD5 1998–2004
  • TD5 vehicles using mass air flow sensor reference MHK100620

Fitment Notes

Check the original sensor reference before ordering. TD5 engine management use of the MAF signal can differ between earlier 10P and later 15P engines, but the replacement sensor should still be matched by vehicle fitment and original part number.

Warranty

Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.

Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.

Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.

This warranty is in addition to your legal rights and does not reduce those rights.
