Defender and Discovery 2 Td5 MAF sensor replacement
This MHK100620G Delphi MAF sensor fits Land Rover Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 models. The mass air flow sensor measures the air entering the engine so the ECU can calculate fuelling correctly.
A tired or inaccurate Td5 MAF sensor can cause poor throttle response, hesitation, lack of power, excess smoke, poor fuel economy or uneven running under load. These symptoms can have more than one cause, but the MAF sensor is a common item to check when a Td5 is not reading airflow correctly.
This Delphi sensor uses a dual-element sensing strip for stable airflow measurement, which makes it a strong replacement choice for both standard and remapped Td5 engines. It gives sensible live data readings on diagnostic tools such as Nanocom or Hawkeye, helping you confirm the fault rather than guessing.
The sensor is a direct plug-in replacement and does not require programming. Before fitting, check the air filter, intake pipework and electrical connector so the new sensor is not affected by air leaks, contamination or a poor connection.
