Td5 con rod bearing set for bottom-end engine work
This King connecting rod bearing set fits Land Rover Td5 engines, including Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5. This is a variable product, so select the correct bearing size before adding it to the basket.
Con rod bearings are replaced during bottom-end engine work, crankshaft inspection or engine rebuilds where the existing bearings are worn, damaged or no longer within tolerance. Worn big-end bearings can contribute to bottom-end knock, low oil pressure and crankshaft journal wear.
Check the crankshaft condition and required bearing size before ordering. Standard bearings are for a standard-size crankshaft. If the crankshaft has been reground, select the correct undersize option to match the machining work.
